Go to the search window and select maps. You then can search by geographic name. Better to say “Lansing” than “Lansing, MI”

This site is dedicated to the idea of creating a knowledge base for the Archives of Michigan and the Michigan Historical Center. Libraries and corporations have used the vertical file system for over one hundred years. This system allows for the grouping of subject driven information to be compiled in packets for quick and easy use. by using the blog platform, static paper files can now be converted into a dynamic knowledge base.
I will begin posting our workshop presentations as a beta at: http://archivesofmichigan.carbonmade.com
