Red Squad Files
June 8, 2007Burton Historical Collection has the Detroit Police Red Squad files. Earliest file is 1945, bulk dates are 1950-1974. Files are restricted to one’s own file until 2017. They will be made available in yearly increments beginning in 2017.
Archives of Michigan Red Squad files have the same restriction, however, they are on obsolete computer media.
